Mount Copper Wind Power Energy

Mount Copper wind energy project is located in the Gaspe Peninsula, near Murdochville. Situated at about 850 meters above sea level and benefiting from prevailing winds, the project consists of thirty 1.8 MW wind generators with an installed capacity of 54MW.

3Ci has developed the project, supervised its construction and operated it for a two-year period.

  • Commercial Operation Date (COD): June 2005
  • Turbine type: Vestas V80 1.8MW
